an increase in IG traffic. Remember, I’m not a certified expert but I am a girl that maintains both a professional and
personal Instagram page…so why not take my advice
1. TAKE+EDIT YOUR PHOTO IN VSCOCAM
VSCOCAM gives you control over focus and exposure which can either make or break a photography,
plus the image quality is usually a bit sharper than your regular phone camera.
When it comes to editing, less is more in VSCOCAM. My personal favorite filters are f2, g3, m3, and t1.
I almost always sharpen and brighten my photographs.
2. BE CONSISTENT
You want to make sure the quality of your pictures are all equal. Using the same filter
is also a smart way to keep your photos consistent.
3. POST SOMETHING YOU LOVE
Now this one is a little different, since it varies from personal accounts to
professional accounts. If you are running a professional account then you want to make sure what you post tells the story that your business wants to put across.
4. TIMING MATTERS
This isn’t a make or break rule, but the timing does matter. Studies have shown that the
best time to post a photo on Instagram would be Wednesdays at 5pm.
5. BE INTERACTIVE
Whether that be following a ton of people, liking every photo on your feed, hash tagging the death out of photos, or just commenting the occasional comment. Being interactive matters and it will build a
solid base for either personal or professional Instagram accounts
*Bonus Tip*
HAVE FUN - Maintain a social media account does not have to be a chore, the best accounts are those run by people who love what they are doing and what to share it with the world.
